The Leatt Moto 8.5 Helmet Kit is built for serious motocross, enduro and off-road riders who demand professional-level protection, lightweight performance and premium comfort.

The helmet features a durable composite shell produced in three shell sizes, providing an optimised balance between weight, fit and impact performance. With a helmet weight starting from just 1,250 g ± 50 g, the Moto 8.5 helps reduce rider fatigue during demanding race and training sessions.

At the core of the helmet is Leatt’s advanced 3-in-1 Safety System, combining 360° Turbine Technology with four-density impact foam. The system is designed to manage rotational, low-speed and high-speed impact forces.

Strategically positioned 360° Turbines deform during impact to help reduce rotational acceleration and low-speed impact energy, while the multi-density impact foam provides additional energy management during higher-speed impacts.

The Moto 8.5 is certified according to ECE 22.06 and DOT, offering high-level protection for demanding off-road use.

Comfort is provided by the Pro-Fit™ modulating pad system, designed to adapt to different head shapes. The removable X-Static® inner liner is breathable, washable and odour resistant, helping maintain freshness throughout long riding sessions.

Large internal ventilation channels provide excellent airflow, keeping the rider cool even at lower speeds.

Additional safety features include emergency cheek pad removal, a secure Double D-ring retention system and a breakaway visor designed to release during impact. A visor extension is included for additional protection against mud, rain and low-angle sunlight.

The helmet is also designed for excellent compatibility with Leatt neck braces and includes a side hydration port for use with an optional hands-free hydration system.

The complete kit comes with premium Leatt Velocity 5.5 goggles, providing clear vision and reliable eye protection straight out of the box.
